DESCRIPTION
The Calafate has amazing Patagonian natural landscapes and a wide variety of outdoor activities to enjoy. This city is famous for his gorgeous glaciers.

GEOGRAPHICAL FEATURES
El Calafate is located in Santa Cruz, in the south of Argentina. There is the Lago Argentino, which is the largest in the country and its waters connect with the Perito Moreno glacier in Los Glaciares National Park.
The latter is the main attraction; you can walk along its walkways, go on mini-treks, and take lake trips on the south and north faces. These glaciers are melting completely, except for the Perito Moreno Glacier, which is continuously losing and gaining 200 kilometers per day. This helps maintain its equilibrium.
From the city, you can see the fascinating Andes Mountains and their hills. The city's tourist infrastructure allows access via the paved Provincial Route 15, approximately 60 km from the city center to the National Park.
